Aggregate tables are pre-computed totals in the form of hierarchical mutidimensional structure.,whereas materliazed view is the database object which caches the query result in a concrete table and updates it from the original database table from time to time .Aggregate tables are used to speed up the query computing whereas materialized view speed up the data retrieval .

Tables can be created with top-down approach i.e. first create data element , then domain , then field. Bottom down approach is first create field ,dataelement and domain.

Can we Restore the Dropped table? How?

Upto Oracle 9i Dropped table can not be restored.
But after that in 10g the droppped table can be restored by using the Flashback command.
* syntax is -> flashback table <tablename> to before drop.
