The difference is of added features like

Smart Filters Nondestructive Smart Filters allow you to visualize changes without altering original pixel data.
Advanced compositing Create more accurate composites by automatically aligning multiplephotoshop layers or images based on similar content.

My favorite tool is filter and layer blending effect, because use these can make photo beauty easy...

If your images are inside a table, be sure to set the BORDER, CELLSPACING, and CELLPADDING attributes to 0.
Extra space between images is often created by whitespace around the <IMG> tag in the markup. It is safe to use newlines inside a tag (between attributes), but not between two tags.

Photoshop-I have an image that needs to be engraved into an object. How do you do that and make it look as if it has been stamped into the object?

Set your type in a serif font, like Times Roman. Make it fairly big (48 pt or bigger). Set it in the same color as the background (the surface the type is supposed to be engraved in).

In the Layers window, double-click to the right of the word you typed. That will open the Layer Style menu.
Double-click on the gray bar to the right of the words "Inner Shadow," and use these settings:
Blend more: Hard Light
Opacity: 100%
Angle = 41
Distance = 0
Choke = 17
Size = 3
Noise = 0

For photoshop is cs3 really that much better than cs2 on an Intel Mac?

On both the Photoshop CS works fine. But on Mac it seems to speed up faster. The startup is much faster than on windows but relative to the velocity of the CS2, it indeed is faster. So yes, photoshop cs3 is better at functioning on an intel mac rater than cs2, due to the faster startup
