Answer Title
Answer
Session tracking is a mechanism that servlets use to maintain state about a series requests from the same user across some period of time. The methods used for session tracking are:
a) User Authentication - occurs when a web server restricts access to some of its resources to only those clients that log in using a recognized username and password
b) Hidden form fields - fields are added to an HTML form that are not displayed in the client's browser. When the form containing the fields is submitted, the fields are sent back to the server
c) URL rewriting - every URL that the user clicks on is dynamically modified or rewritten to include extra information. The extra information can be in the form of extra path information, added parameters or some custom, server-specific URL change.
d) Cookies - a bit of information that is sent by a web server to a browser and which can later be read back from that browser.
e) Http Session- places a limit on the number of sessions that can exist in memory. This limit is set in the session.maxresidents property

Anonymous FTP enables users to connect to a host without using a valid login and password. Usually, anonymous FTP uses a login called anonymous or guest, with the password usually requesting the user's ID for tracking purposes only. Anonymous FTP is used to enable a large number of users to access files on the host without having to go to the trouble of setting up logins for them all. Anonymous FTP systems usually have strict controls over the areas an anonymous user can access.

Who is the person (supervisor or clerk?) and what information are they requesting (confidential material)?
Basically we use common sense because not all files on my boss's desk may be considered confidential.  If in cases that the file being requested contains confidential matters and are too sensitive to be handed down then it is but proper to try to call my boss through available means of communication and ask permission if he wants the said file to be given out to the requesting party or not.  If he gives permission then it is best to issue a borrower's slip where the date time, a general description of the content of the file and the name of the borrowing party will be indicated to easy tracking of documents.  However, when the means of communication to my boss is not possible then it is best to cordially explain to the requesting party to wait until such time that my boss will be back from his vacation to be able to decide on the matter.
