LCDUI is a shorthand way of referring to the MIDP user interface APIs, contained in the javax.microedition.lcdui package. Strictly speaking, LCDUI stands for Liquid Crystal Display User Interface. It's a user interface toolkit for small device screens which are commonly LCD screens.

The .NET Framework 3.5 provides the foundation for building connected and appealing applications, productively, on a wide variety of systems from the device to the data center.

Microsoft continues to support developers using the .NET Framework platform by providing support for applications built in previous versions to the 3.5 release, so existing applications built for .NET Framework 2.0 or .NET Framework 3.0 will continue to work.

The .NET Framework 3.5 adds new features in several major technology areas:

• Deep integration of Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and data awareness.
• Support for Web 2.0 AJAX-style applications and services in ASP.NET and WCF.
• Full tooling support for WF, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), including the new workflow-enabled services technology.
• New classes in the base class library (BCL) for the .NET Framework 3.5 address the most common customer requests.

CAML stands for Collaborative Application Markup Language and is an XML-based language
that is used in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services to define sites and lists, including, for
example, fields, views, or forms, but CAML is also used to define tables in the Windows
SharePoint Services database during site provisioning.

B2B stands for Business-to-business.

The KVM is a compact Java virtual machine (JVM) that is designed for small devices. It supports a subset of the features of the JVM. For example, the KVM does not support floating-point operations and object finalization. The CLDC specifies use of the KVM. According to folklore, the 'K' in KVM stands for kilobyte, signifying that the KVM runs in kilobytes of memory as opposed to megabytes.

ASP stands for Active Server Pages. ASP is an open, compile-free application environment in which you can combine HTML, scripts, and reusable ActiveX server components to create dynamic and powerful Web-based business solutions. Active Server Pages enables server side scripting for IIS with native support for both VBScript and JScript. ASPs are Web pages that contain server-side scripts in addition to the usual mixture of text and HTML tags. Server-side scripts are special commands you put in Web pages that are processed before the pages are sent from the server to the web-browser of someone who's visiting your website. All ASP pages are given a .aspx extension. The servers that support ASP are Internet Information Server (IIS) & Microsoft Personal Web Server. Unline normal HTML pages you can view ASP pages without running a web server. When a ASP.net page is compiled it's translated into MSIL.
