A loaded question.  A nasty little game that you will probably lose if you answer first. So, do not answer it. Instead, say something like, That's a tough question. Can you tell me the range for this position?
In most cases, the interviewer, taken off guard, will tell you. If not, say that it can depend on the details of the job. Then give a wide range.

I often mention something that is a positive about me and say that it's a negative. For example, I say that I am always curious to know how things work and I spend a lot of time reading information about work related topics. Or that I can be overly organized. It should be something that matches the person you are, but if you think about it, you will find something that you can 'say' is negative but the employer will think it's a plus!

Only mention problems that are good problems - being really detailed oriented, overly punctual, organized, taking work home with you because you enjoy it so much. Be sure to mention something the interviewer would like to hear.

Also be sure to make and keep good eye contact with the person, people's natural response is not to trust people with shifty eyes.
