T means twisted pair cable. There are two types of cable STP (Shielded Twisted Pair Cable) and UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair Cable). 100BaseT uses category 5, 5e, 6 twisted cable that is connected to RJ45.

Copper Distributed Data Interface. Implementation of FDDI protocols over STP and UTP cabling. CDDI transmits over relatively short distances (about 100 meters), providing data rates of 100 Mbps using a dual-ring architecture to provide redundancy. Based on the ANSI Twisted-Pair Physical Medium Dependent (TPPMD) standard. Compare with FDDI.

a pseudo terminal is a pseudo-device pair that provides a text terminal
interface without associated virtual console, computer terminal or
serial port hardware. Instead, a process replaces the role of the
underlying hardware for the pseudo terminal session

Newer Ethernet implementations produce LAN speeds of up to 100Mbps using unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) copper cabling. For these networks, the IEEE adopted 10BASE-T, 100BASET, and 100BASE-TX designations, indicating that they are operating on twisted-pair cabling and depend on its specifications for the maximum segment length.

On some system boards, resetting the contents of the CMOS can be accomplished by shorting a special pair of jumpers on the board. With other systems, you will need to remove or short across the backup battery to reset the CMOS information. In ATX systems, it will also be necessary to unplug the power from the commercial outlet to reduce the voltage to the CMOS registers. When the contents of the CMOS are reset, you must manually restore any non-default CMOS settings being used by the system.

An open jumper pair can be counted as a binary 0, whereas a shorted pair represents a binary 1. With a three pair jumper block, it is possible to represent eight numbers (0 through 7).
