If the printer's paper thickness selector is set improperly or the rollers in its paper feed system become worn, the paper can slip as it moves through the printer and cause disfigured graphics to be produced.

Pin tractors are usually employed with continuous and multilayer forms. These mechanisms can control paper slippage and misalignment created by the extra weight imposed by continuous forms. Tractors can be adjusted to handle various paper widths. Tractor feeds are used with very heavy forms, such as multiple-part, continuous forms, and are most commonly found on dotmatrix printers.

Novel feeds are feeds composed of or derived from microorganisms, plants or animal sources that:
are not approved as livestock feed in Canada (not listed in Schedule IV or V of the Feeds Regulations)
and/or contain a novel trait

Novel feeds include microbial products (e.g. forage inoculants, fermentation products) plants with novel
traits, and plants with no history of use as feed, and products/by-products of biotechnology-derived animals.

Plant molecular farming is the growing of plants in agriculture to produce pharmaceutical or industrial
compounds instead of food, feed, or fibre. The possibilities range from the manufacture of medical
products, such as pharmaceuticals (drugs) and vaccines, to the production of products like biodegradable plastics and industrial chemicals.

Text streams are interpreted, with a maximum length of 255 characters. With text streams, carriage return/line feed combinations are translated to the newline n character and vice versa. A text stream would be used for reading and writing standard text files, printing output to the screen or printer, or receiving input from the keyboard. 
Binary streams are uninterpreted and are treated one byte at a time with no translation of characters. A binary text stream would typically be used for reading and writing binary files such as graphics or word processing documents, reading mouse input, or reading and writing to the modem.
