I always aim at zero absence, though 1 to 5 for the entire year should be moderate enough.

High density lipoproteins, or HDL's, are good for you. They are produced by the liver to carry cholesterol and other lipids (fats) from tissues and organs back to the liver for recycling or degradation. Having high levels of HDL lowers the incidence of atherosclerosis (clooged arteries) and heart disease.

The ways in which you can increase the HDL levels are:

  1. Moderate exercise (about 30 minutes five times a week) not only reduces LDL cholesterol, it also can raise HDL cholesterol, too.
  2. Smoking can lower HDL levels, in addition to disturbing other aspects of your lipid profile. This appears to affect women more than it does men.
  3. Eat healthy by including lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein in your diet. Also be sure to include monounsaturated fats in your diet.
  4. Moderate consumption of alcohol may also positively impact HDL levels.

With your objectives in mind, determine how much risk you're prepared to take. Do you want to adopt a conservative, moderate or aggressive investment strategy? Ask yourself the following questions before you make your decision:

  • Are you prepared to make long-term investments, which will allow you to take greater risks for higher returns ?
  • If you're going for short-term, high-risk investments, can you afford to lose some of the money you invest ?
  • If you're married with children, what level of risk can you take and still be certain of their future ?
  • You're going to diversify by spreading your investments over a range of low- to high-risk products. But will you weigh them towards high- or low-risk investments ?
  • If you want your money to be safe, will you be content with a moderate rate of return ?
  • If you opt for safe investments, will the returns be enough to cover inflation ?

The odor that plumbing material may give is generally termed as "waxy plastic citrus," "fruity plastic" and "burning plastic."  Amongst  the various kinds of plactic pipes available, its known that, cPVC has a low odor potential and it doesn't seem to release many organic chemicals. HPDE actually had the highest odor production, although it doesn't release very many organic materials. The PEX-b pipe had a moderate amount of odors and also a moderate amount of organic chemicals that were released into the air. PEX-a had fewer odors and organics release than the PEX-b pipe.

It would be wise to ask neighbour as to what kind of pipes they use and whether it is giving them any problem or not.
