I would like to do some volunteer work too..

i guess the question should be why do you want to be a doctor..
I guess doctors are always medical.. the question is not framed right..

The answer to this question needs extensive research. Do you have enough educational and research background to conduct that kind of research independently? Is there a potential for securing grants?
