TRAPS: Give a perfect "10," and you'll seem too easy to please. Give anything less than a perfect 10, and he could press you as to where you're being critical, and that road leads downhill for you.

BEST ANSWER: Once again, never be negative. The interviewer will only resent criticism coming from you. This is the time to show your positivism.

However, don't give a numerical rating. Simply praise whatever interview style he's been using.

If he's been tough, say "You have been thorough and tough-minded, the very qualities needed to conduct a good interview."

If he's been methodical, say, "You have been very methodical and analytical, and I'm sure that approach results in excellent hires for your firm."

In other words, pay him a sincere compliment that he can believe because it's anchored in the behavior you've just seen.

(Don't say you have one, but give one that is really a "positive in disguise." I am sometimes impatient and do to much work myself when we are working against tight deadlines." Or "I compliment and praise my staff, but feel I can improve." )

There was a co-worker who had a different work style and a loud way of communicating ideas. Sometimes they seemed a little pushy too. I find the best way to diffuse conflict is to compliment the person. Find any reason big or small to compliment. It could be a nice shirt, an interesting piece of jewelry, or about there work. It's best to look for little things and compliment them over a period of a month. It sounds counter-intuitive, but it works - the person who is creating conflict finds it difficult to maintain it while they are being compliment a couple of times a week by you. You will be surprised. I have experienced conflict situations evovle into some of the best co-workers.

This is a tricky Question, I would evaluate where I am giving an interview at. If the workplace is one which is known for following rigid Process guidelines, then I would say I would speak to me supervisor to make him/her aware of the significant risks involved in this situation and request to delegate/distribute the work. Alternate Answer: If the workplace is one which requires to be flexible (like the Support Engineering tasks) answere that you will manage your time in such a way that you cover most of the work, while communicating frequently with the supervisor with updated status.
